This is my bass cover & TAB for “Surfin' Boy” by Red Velvet.
“Surfin' Boy” is the title track from Red Velvet’s 2026 summer
mini album, Velvet Summer - Summer Mini Album.
One of the song’s most distinctive elements is its use of a bossa nova-inspired rhythm within a bright and refreshing summer atmosphere.
Its soft, relaxed pulse flows naturally throughout the track, creating a breezy yet sophisticated mood.
The bass, in particular, supports the smooth rhythm and light groove associated with bossa nova while naturally connecting the flow of the song.

I performed and transcribed the bass part while staying as faithful as possible to the mood of the original song.
