An Impromptu of the White-akynei

This is the second piece in the Five-Color Series, the theme for Mineim Nahatriyev, one of the heroines of the novel 'Lur Amis Riffel'.

Mineim serves as the Chief Strategist of the Mirgrad Army, always devising strategies swiftly to suit the situation. To capture that characteristics, I felt an impromptu would be most fitting.

She has blonde hair and always wears a white hat adorned with elegant golden trim, hence, her color is white.

Since Cerudy had already taken yellow, there’s also a sense in which Mineim naturally got white.

Because this is an impromptu of the white, I thought it best not to touch the black keys, thus I composed using only the white ones.

As she formulates strategies faster than anyone else, the tempo had to be quick. I should clarify that the speed was not intentional—it simply emerged from the character’s nature.

Compared to the waltz I wrestled with for nearly twenty years, this piece reached about 99% completion in several months.

Many sections were scrapped and rewritten. I’m very satisfied with its current form.
