Here it is: my new Easy to Intermediate Piano Arrangement of Golden from the Netflix series KPop Demon Hunter.
This arrangement was born thanks to a request from one of my Suzuki piano students at CEMI Bologna.
I tried to keep the writing simple and accessible, staying within two voices and almost excluding polyphony, except for a few sustained notes in the first refrain.
It’s a beginner-friendly arrangement, perfect for children or early-stage piano learners who want to explore modern melodies with a gentle challenge.
I was honestly impressed by this melody: by the wide vocal range, the unexpected leaps (almost Freddie Mercury-level!), and the harmonic richness of the song, which includes sixths, sevenths, and major ninth chords.
It’s incredible how much musical depth can hide inside a song written for a younger audience. Totally unexpected!
