1989年7月29日公開 映画「魔女の宅急便」より『旅立ち』は、キキが魔女の修行のために家族や友人に見送られ、新しい生活へ向けて故郷を旅立つシーンで流れる楽曲です。不安と期待が入り混じる気持ちや、これから始まる冒険への希望が感じられる印象的な一曲です。
