Massimiliano “MarFi” Gentilini (born in Milan, Italy, in 1988) is an Italian bassist, composer, producer, and educator based in Barcelona, Spain. Since relocating to Barcelona in 2010, he has built a versatile career spanning progressive rock, heavy metal, jazz, funk, and Latin music, performing as both a session musician and a live artist.
He is the founder, bassist, and primary songwriter of Aran Prog Project, where he combines melodic songwriting with technical musicianship, and is also the bassist for the heavy metal band Death Keepers. Alongside his performing career, Gentilini is an experienced bass instructor and the creator of the Bass Tunes YouTube channel, where he shares educational content, bass arrangements, and performances with an international audience.
