内容
Fr. Louis Lambillotte (1796–1855), a Belgian, was a Jesuit priest active in the 19th century. A Catholic music composer and archivist, he also made significant contributions to the restoration of Gregorian music. His composition, Panis Angelicus, means "Bread of Angels" in Latin and is the beginning of the second-to-last verse of Sacris sollemnis (Holy Feast) by St. Thomas Aquinas.
A piece with the same melody is also included in Korean Catholic hymns. I recommend playing this organ meditation quietly at a calm tempo.
